    Thumbs up 100% Balls

Went shopping today to get a Mesa Lonestar Classic. Been promising myself one for a while now and found a mint used one a couple of hours drive away from me. Anyway took my 'Non Balls' with me just incase anything took my fancy. Came across a used Silo HSH/ trem/maple in black. At least they tell me it's used, only the case is the give away. I'm not normally into black guitars , but this was like the most luscious black I've seen on any guitar and I was seriously smitten with it. Plugged it into the Lonestar when I got home and Jeez !..What a combination !! Man.. the cleans on this amp are awesome and it has all the drive I'll ever need. The Silo quacks like mad through it and the leads sing. Just had the JP through it and it "RAAAAWKS". A big 'heads up' to Coda Music. Never visited before..great guys and good prices.

So there you go.. I have nothing Balls now, one for every occasion...time to change my sig

Kevin, congrats on the Lone Star! I just got one myself early this month, it could be the amp-for-life. Mine's black, but I prefer the blue you have, but it still sounds the same

AND, I have a black Silo Special HSS on order, due in March, can't wait.

that purple ASS is stunning, great amp too! I managed to play one today, but it wasnt for sale, a guy in the store owned it and had it sitting around, i liked it much better than the LS Special.

The ASS was my first EBMM about four years ago. I swapped it for a LesPaul Anniversary Deluxe. I knew as soon as I played it that it was a keeper. The flash on the camera does show the flame beautifully. It's not quite as visible under normal lighting. There is a chip in the laquer on the headstock, down to the wood. Does anyone have any idea of what can be done with it ? i like the idea of chrome pickup covers. I may have a look into that.

I may consider putting an alternative pickguard on the Silo. What combinations can anybody recommend ?.....pics maybe ? (Fogman ? )

Me too, except for my Ovation 12 string, I'm 100% EBMM too. I plan on having something to cover anything I can imagine wanting to play.

After I get the 2 Axis Super Sports in I'm setting my sights on an '08 LE AL. I should be pretty close at that point. I may have to reconsider a Morse to round out the collection.

I've attempted to buy a PRS on 2 different occasions and backed out on both. I bought a Black Les Paul Standard on impulse last January and ended up trading it on the Buttercream Silhouette Special 4 months later. Never looked back.

I have everything I need with my stable of EBMM guitars. My wife thinks it's a sickness, but I told her it's a passion... and it keeps me off the streets.
    Play Ball!!

    1993 - Silhouette - "aged" white
    1998 - Axis Sport - vintage burst
    2000 - Axis Sport - trans orange
    2004 - Petrucci - redburst
    2007 - Sub 1 - cinnamon
    2010 - Luke - pagan gold (repainted)
    2010 - Albert Lee - mint greene

    Line 6 - Pod HD500 > DT25
