I was thinking this was now license to NOT BE CAREFUL any more with worrying about the guitars finish! Heck, I even considered having it aged professionally. I love the feel of those extreme relic'd f**ders. Nice and broken in. If only the necks felt as nice and the tone was on par with the AL (and if it wouldn't cost the same as 2 ALs to get one!)

Nah I wouldn't fancy doing it to a new guitar - but if I bought a beat up Al - I'd definitely think of getting it done.
