BFR luke neck question.

This is a discussion on BFR luke neck question. within the Music Man Guitars forums, part of the Gear Talk category; is the luke a flat/thin shape or a normal chunky one? i have a tough choice to make......

    Dante the neck on the BFR Luke is essentially the same neck as the normal Luke.

    thanks AJ, but i don't currently own a luke. can you compare it to a JP6??

    "V" neck shape....not thin like a Petrucci model.

    VERY different. The V-profile is very pronounced, the neck is deeper, and to me narrower than my JP. I actually find it more comfortable to play than my JP...

    Yeah,

    It's certainly not chunky. Great comfortable back profile, with a 12" rad fretboard - can't ask for much more than that!!
