    No, he was a major session guy in the early 60's who played on their albums. He may have also toured with them at one point, but I don't think he was an official member, and definitely not an original.

    Ive heard many a player mention that Campbell is a tremendous player, I have a live concert somewhere and you think all the fills and solos are the backup guitarist but its all Campbell.
