    Cool The BONGO-GUITAR ! ! !

Now did THAT headline get you started or what ?!

After playing Bongo 5-string in a not so far away store lately I really fell in love with the shape and playability of that sweet-thang. And remember - I normally don't play bass...

Is there a chance that one fine day there might be a Bongo guitar leaving SLO to please the public and give relief to my sore eyes ?!?

...it's sunday early morn' here in Bavaria and I guess I'm still dreaming, but then again - who knows...

BFR Bongo guitar - a one-off, just for me ?!

Now for my coffee, I need to wake up...

Oh c'mon Dead-Eye, no use in makin' a broken man cry in the early sunday morn'

Yeah, I know the Bongo-Guitar's proto was ugly, but nowaday looking at Bongo bass production models really makes me think they could do a freaking awesome new guitar design from it.
I'm just soooooo hoping for it

It would be mighty cool, if only just to see a different design come out, but the signs are not good! It would be a huge risk if it failed miserably, if as expected 99.9% of guitarists just laugh at it!

Can't see the Bongo guitar ever happening, but I agree about the Bongo 5. I'm really loving mine.

I saw and played one of these around my mates workshop a couple of weeks ago.
A vox organ guitar. The fretboard (frets) is wierd insofar as there are gaps on the fret because of the organ synth. A collectible bit of memorabilia.

The Bongo guitar is ugly and I doubt it would ever happen.
Though I admire the fact that they tried it!

    Take a look for yourslef!
    or just ask Glenn!

What if there was a 'Forum Designed' variation on the bongo - only available via the forum like the Dargies! - That'd be cool??

Cool you got to mess with one. I can't help but admire the polished die cast aluminum parts on that thing. Or maybe chromed or polished stainless?

Wow, that is too cool! Is that set up as an elec/acoustic? I don't see pickups or knobs? Maybe his hand covers the controls.
