This has been covered many times. BP has said on numerous occasions that the Bongo is for the bass. That's it.

In my opinion, guitarists have all these awesome models to choose from (between signature models, Axis, Axis SS, Silo, and Silo Spec), and the bassists have their choice of three (Bongo, Stingray, Sterling). Hate to make it seem like I'm complaining about an apparent lack of choices (which I'm not), but please let us have our cake.

Reflex 5 HH - Black Sugar and Roasted Maple BFR
Genz Benz Streamliner 900 and LDS 15/6/1

I saw one at the Open House in SLO and it was not exactly appealing. Just looked too darn small with the bongo body and all.

I would say no at this time...but...I don't work for EBMM and they have been known to surprise us....but...I honestly don't think a bongo guitar is in the future.
