if i turn the volume up and dont play i can here the channel selector quite well through the amp. i have never really changed pickups unless playing and you cant really here it then but when sitting idle you can hear it clear as day. didnt know if that was normal. thanks. by the way just rewired my racks and finishing up. will psot some pics of the w/d/w rig and racks when fully complete.

I think that is normal. I wouldn't worry about it.
