Morse - Axe - Snuff Flick

    Start Player

Every time I attempt this, I am constantly reminded how hard it is to write a good pop rock tune! This attempt is called “Snuff Flick” and all the guitars are the Axe FX Ultra, über-freak Marco Minnemann on drums, and me on everything else (unfortunately also on vocals). Guitar is EB MM Morse with DiMarzio Anniversary PAFs. Maybe a real singer will come along and save the song later. This will probably go on the next HWM album I’m writing for.

I was wondering how this song was coming along, the James Woods flick 'Videodrome" was on HBO a few weeks back and this song came to mind

    Sounds great

    Bloody hell John, that's sweet.
I haven't experimented much with direct tones yet.

I get sweet tones through my Power amp & cabs, but I'm stuffed if I can get that sound out of my Ultra direct.

You've inspired me to tweak more !

What amp model & cab / IR did you use ?
