Slinkys only sound good the day they get put on After that they are Dead! I don't even like the new coated ones. Dunlop Strings are great! They are my new favorite!!!!!

Really? Mine sound good when they're fresh, and still sound good (but different) after they're dead. They don't rust, just get dull, and I keep them on for about 2 to 3 months at a stretch. I play everyday at home, and Singapore has 90% humidity.

I used to use others. Dunlops, DRs, D'Addarios, etc etc... Even tried Elixirs before. My favs are still EB RPS Slinkys.

I have pretty acidic sweat. I can kill a pack of strings in a day easy. But Im NO where near as bad as my teacher George Bellas, his sweat is way worse than mine! He is used to old strings. I cant stand it! I gotta have fresh strings. And right now Dunlop strings are $3.50 or so on Musician's Friend | Your Online Music Instrument & Pro Audio Store | Best Prices, Great Service so I bought a lot of them!

Slinkys just feel too "hard" to me. D'Addario just have a softer feel to me, especially doing bends.
