In the past I've seen the odd Axis advertised as Teal. They never looked quite like blue. Was this a limited run colour? If so will it be back?

Keep it live!!
I'm not sure if it has been done previously and not sure if it will be done in the future. But I can say.... in my experiance, all of the ones I have encountered have in fact been a standard Trans Blue finish, that have just aged/faded/morphed since leaving the factory.
Mine left the factory some 10 years ago trans blue and is currently an uber lovely sea foam blue/green. Pretty close to the tastey teal your describing i think.
I'd say keep an eye out second hand or alternatively...
Buy a new one, play 10 years and see what happens... worst case scenario you get an amazing guitar![]()

The top was sick. Here's a pic of my current one:
Nothing wrong with this top either. This one leans a bit more towards teal. Of course, both are trans-blue. And yes, it has been offered here and on the 'bay. I've got a LUKE I waiting to come home to me. Anyone?
