Any neck difference between silo & silo special?

Hi, just wondering if there is any difference (besides 2 frets) between the necks on the silhouette and silhouette special? Is the silo neck wider and or fatter?

    Thanks.

They are the same C neck carve. They each may vary a bit as they're hand finished. I have two Silo Specials and one's a bit chunkier than the other.

Some might argue about subtle nuances, but I'd say they are pretty much the same.

That's interesting. My 3 Silo Specs all feel and measure exactly the same. But the Silo 20ths seem to measure 1mm thinner at the nut.

All the silo specials Ive had all had slightly varied necks, my dargie was the fattest.

Well Rob, feel can be altered by action height, nut height, fret wear and string gauge. Tried measuring your Silo Spec necks with a caliper?

I think there'll be some tolerance variances in between the necks of the same models.
