    Thanx, Glenn |B)
I for one am stopping at GC and asking Mike about em...... Should be entertaining either way...... he'll be excited to tell me about the line or wondering how I know about em.

I'm looking at em thinking.......maybe I can buy an Axis, a JP and a Silo in the Sterling line.

(although I know what that led to when I bought the OLP)

kind of a mixed bag for me. one of the coolest things about ebmm was that you know exacty what youre getting into. hopefully the quality control and use of quality components can be maintained. i do have to admit that i had a guitar mik and it was pretty flawless and had alot of outsourced parts ie tuners, nut, bridge, pups. (nothing wrong outside of crap electronics) heck it was even a neckthrough and all for under 500 street priced. have to keep an eye on this

Great stuff and thanks very much for the preview BP.

I can't wait to see them in the shops, I'm sure that they'll be a really great addition to the brand.

people thought Epiphone was a bad name too....it was. Squier? Did you know that they used that name because they had limited trademark protection as that was the name of the original string factory in batle creek michigan that CBS bought...Squier Manufacturing?

IT really doesnt matter.....Oh yeah how about Music Man for a name.......I can just picture somebody bringing that up in a marketing brainstroming session today.....

THis whole instant critique of the branding is why you guys are cayenne pepper....

THe important thing to talk about is the quality and commitment to same that the Park family has and their beautiful execution...The samples are scary good.....

Very cool. I am glad that there is another "lower" line of guitars and basses out there. I don't mean "lower" as in bad quality. Just a price point thing. I have had so many people tell me that my bongo sounds amazing....just...priced out of their range at the time. However, now, they can get a high quality instrument at a lower price point that will eventually lead them to the Music Man line. That is how I see it. I could care less about the name of the brand as long as the quality is at a high level for the price you pay.

You can call it a Band of Monkeys bashing on fat strings for all I care. As long as it plays well that is all that matters. This is to get more people into playing a decent instrument. This is nothing but a GREAT idea to come along.
"Welcome to the addiction!" is now patented by Koogie2k......if used by anyone other than Koogie2k....you must mail him a US nickel for each time said/typed or signed.......

I so hope this will be the guitar that will finally put him off those dreaded pointed headstock I##nez guitars and will open the gates for him to the world of EBMM. Kids his age (14+) copy trends from heavy metal bands rather than appreciate good quality and playability. If bands like Trivium or Killswitch Engage would play Axis and Silos all these kids would buy them in the 1000's. Go figure
Hey, Capt! Remember, EBMM has John Petrucci and John Myung of Dream Theater, the top Progressive Metal band out there! So, there is a presence.

I guess as these instruments will be carrying BP's name, they should be more than well worth a try!

Good to see that people on a budget will be able to play instruments which reflect the EBMM spirit.

Any thoughts on whether there will be piezo options? This might be a good way for one of my brothers to get his hands on a JP...

Hey, BP... I see one of the basses with a maple board. Will the instruments be orderable by the end user or will it be a purchase from current inventory procedure. 'cause I like a niice maple board!

Dang. And here I decided not to go to NAMM this year. I bought a Squier Classic Vibe strat as a backup to my Silhouette Special a few months back because I couldn't afford another Silhouette. The Squier is ok but I can't get with the neck and to me the silo neck is king.

These look good and here's hoping for a Sterling by Music Man Silhouette Special!!

we have to remember that many people for whatever reason would love to own a Music Man but can't. I never carried OLP but this is exciting for many reasons and one of those reasons is those people that wanted to get into MM but couldn't now can. The name is great I personally will be ordering many... Nice job BP.
