They look sweet. The Sterling line is the replacement for the OLP's if I remember correctly. I also remember BP posting that he initially didn't want it named "Sterling" but was over-ruled... funny if you think about it. What do the numbers signify?

Is it a lower cost Music Man. Is that the idea? That would be great for recommending to students.

I can easily see this as my son's next guitar, he tried a S.U.B. at the Music Live show back in October thanks to Blind Lemon and loved it, but by the time he wanted to buy one it was gone for good and all the few available now are asking silly money.

I so hope this will be the guitar that will finally put him off those dreaded pointed headstock I##nez guitars and will open the gates for him to the world of EBMM. Kids his age (14+) copy trends from heavy metal bands rather than appreciate good quality and playability. If bands like Trivium or Killswitch Engage would play Axis and Silos all these kids would buy them in the 1000's. Go figure

Nice concept - and really great that we are being told about this.
.. and this is where Spud gets all silly ... will that mean that there will be a "Sterling Sterling".

The 35 and 34 might be bass scale lengths but I don't know what the others are.
