    I bought it in 2004.
It was my number one axe for 3 years. Just house use mind you.
Then I got supersport and I fell in love with that.
Pity cos i would love to see the wear on it if I hadnt got distracted hehe

I'll post more pics of the neck if u want?

Which begs the question...to clean or not to clean.....

Will cleaning impact the Mojo? hmmmmm

You know where my heart lies

    Noted though.
Most of the non ernieballs are "homemade" ones so is that ok? although the connotations of them might not sit well.

    didnt mean any offense BP.

no problem but please edit as that is a pretty good and fair rule....I dont do this to upset you but we have to have some guidelines and me paying bandwidth for other instruments is pretty basic....thanks foryour understanding

Azazael, you can delete the thread by deleteing the first post.

Or leave it up, but edit out the pics of the non-EBMM's.
Currently modding the heck out of a SBMM SILO30

Sorry to come in at a bit of a tangent, but that metallic Blue Axis SS.
Did you buy it off of a fellow knucklehead ?
I only ask because i had one just the same that I sold on to Kompressaur1 which took the guitar North to Scotland. I think that after that Komp sold it on to either Dstockeden, or Dloyd, or maybe Dmullen. Whichever it was another Scottish knucklehead. no biggie, it's just nice if if stayed within the family you know.

    Same guitar!
I also feel that the wrong neck was put on that guitar, it certainly aint like any axis neck ive ever played. Its far too thin.

I completely agree about that neck.
I bought that Blue ASS with the intention of having it as a 'back up' to my main Purple Axis.
Much as it was a lovely guitar the neck was noticeably thinner compared to my No1.
Thing is it still has the DNA of an Axis neck in as much as it does still have an assymetric profile to it, just less of it !

In contrast I briefly owned a Pewter MM90 Axis Sport that, if anything had a meatier neck than the Axis. Still an Axis shape but more of a handful. Wish i'd kept a hold of that one..

that Blue ASS is a lovely colour mind you.
