what color is this?

Hi, anyone know what color this is? It's a very dark blue with hint of purple. Looks almost black in some light.

If its a JP,then must be a Mystic Dream finish...nor sure though..

No it's Pearl Purple, late 80's early 90's color.

dunno about the late 80s bit. iirc that finish was introduced along with the Special and at first was only available on that guitar. Sometime around 95/96 I'd say. I used to have one in pearl purple with the wilskinson trem and grover front locking machine heads. sold it to Bungo on here.
