Your rosewood lefty JP should be here towards the end of next week. Would you like me to ship you the Sterling Silver LUKE along with it?
I'm saving towards a new house, also - the dog is too big for my current place, and I'm out of room to store guitars. Hopefully I can grab a 25th!
Have you got G.A.S. for another EBMM???

I totally agree with that. I noticed better chord definition, especially on high gain settings. The tone is a little earthier/darker than a maple neck. A little darker than a mahogany BFR neck even...though this could be the difference in pickup orientation between the JP6 and JP7 doing that also...
I can't believe this, but I haven't been playing too many harmonics lately. I guess I've been too mesmerized by the feel of the neck...

Dude I just got my Thorn R/S (absolutely BADASS guitar btw!) and I'm already thinking about finding a way to grab a rosewood-necked JP7.
I also have a custom carbon fiber 7-string (similar to a Parker) on order with Oni guitars right now... I really don't "need" it but man that GAS is a bitch!
Now THAT sounds like a serious problem right there Pete!![]()

Hey guys, feel free to shoot me an email (aj@ernieball.com) and I can try to help you find what you are looking for.
"Hello! This is A.J.! How can I help you?"
For you Canadians, The Arts in Newmarket still has some lovely ones. They have a Pearl White Silo Special HSS trem, and two Axis SS (one with a top that looks like East Coast maple with all kinds of interesting stuff happening in it).
I got the Albert Lee in Pearl White SSS trem. Just WOW! Light to the point that if the body was any lighter it would be verging on neck-heavy. I was really interested to hear how the combination of swampash body and RW neck would sound, and the verdict is...outstanding. It retains the harmonics and pop of a great swampash axe, but adds more attack and low-mids. The sustain and sheer acoustic output are quite unreal. You can really hear all the wood and even the windings on the basses. I had a 2006 Limited Albert that was quite phenomenal; this one clobbers it.
DO NOT miss out on one of these guitars!-Eric
