Well, after a ton of help from AJ (thanks again bro, once again proving EBMM CS ROCKS!

) I managed to track down the last EBMM JP7 with the rosewood neck that was NOT Pearl Redburst! Looks like WMC had a Mystic Dream (fully loaded, piezo + inlays ftw!) JP7 Rosewood on order for stock and it is coming home with me! I put down the deposit on it tonight and Brian (anyone who shops there either knows or should get to know him, terrific guy!) said it should be here any day now!!! I'm SO psyched to get it, all I could see in any of the stores was either a full-on BFR or Pearl Redburst and I didn't want to overspend nor do I dig the PR finish so this was just what the doctor ordered! I've been through 3 Mystic Dream JPs and every time I sell I kick myself... this one is something truly special and I feel like it was meant to be so just wanted to say thanks to AJ and Brian Meader for helping me make it happen!

Sweet, you'll have the bigger brother to my MD 6 w/ the RW neck! You gotta post some pics when you get it. BTW, what part of PA are you in?

Oh yes, many pics will be posted once I have her in my hands!

I'm currently living in Northern Virginia but my parents live right outside Philly so I spend 1-2 weekends every month visiting the area. I spent about 12 years living there myself, miss that area..... especially since real estate is like 50% cheaper up there and I'm trying to buy a house right now! LOL

Thanks bro! I had to sell one of my amps and it looks like another guitar to cover it without touching my house funds, so that stinks a bit but I've been GASing for one of these in the worst way recently so I figured I should scratch that itch.

Patiently awaiting the call from Brian to let me know that it's in!

Right on man, I think this is now (at least, maybe more I've forgotten?) my fifth or sixth Petrucci?

I have no doubt that it will be killer just like all the rest.

I am surprised more dealers didn't take advantage of the RW neck offer, it was rough trying to track one of these down that wasn't pearl redburst! I haven't seen another MD JP7 RW out there so far, possibly one-of-a-kind?

All I know is I missed my MD JP7 and this will be even better than that since I love rosewood necks!
