Played it this morning. I was concerned going into it because with just the effects pedal and headphones, it seemed noisy. With the house system, it was quiet as could be. Good sounds....first couple songs were first bell-y/with distortion...used the hum and one single coil together....second was more distorted...used the same settings and the last 2 I was the acoustic guy, so went to 2 single coils and and acoustic sound on the pedal. Sounded nice.

Well, I could not leave well enough alone. Just about a year later, I've done a complete redo. Thanks to F'ing for the pickguard and Glenn for the pickups and silent circuit. I didn't keep track this time, but finished putting it together over the weekend. Basically silo spec/silent circuit but modern strat switching. Copper shielding and on/off for battery.

Very cool! Love the look of the binding appearance. I think you just made me want to put the white pearl guard back on my Silo Special.

I'll have to figure out my camera. Yah, some companies call it a scraped binding, others call it faux binding. It was a 45 degree angled bit on a router and enough balls to start cutting wood.....

I do like how it sort of makes the body look smaller.

I use it for rehersal tomorrow night and 2 services Sunday morning.

Jack! That looks amazing! Congrats on the continued work and evolution.

Now all it needs is AWD, BUg eyes, and a v.7 JDM EJ20.

Agreed -- looks very cool. But, AWD -- really Scooby? RWD, RWD, RWD, RWD, RWD (unless the track is wet, snowy, or muddy). OK, AWD is pretty cool.
