Unhappy Petrucci BFR problem with piezo

    Hi there

I know that similar threads were created before about the same problem that I am having but i really can't find any information on this so i decided to start a new post...

I got this beautiful Petrucci BFR Bahama Blue Burst about 2 weeks ago, brand new out of the factory, all sealed and stuff. I was the first one to actually open the cardboard box.. Anyway until yesterday, everything seemed to be perfectly fine but suddenly, out of nowhere, the piezo pickup started making this hiss noise and it got even worse today that it started not working on and off.. the problem is only with the piezo and the other pickups work perfectly.

It is so annoying for me cause I live in Vancouver, Canada and I had to special order this guitar because they didnt have it and i waited for weeks to get it. Now i dont understand how on earth a brand new just a couple weeks old Music Man guitar causes problems. especially thinking about the fact that you pay a ridiculous amount of money to buy and bring in such a special guitar and it ends up breaking in 2 weeks.. CS says that i should send it back to California so that they can fix it. Just imagine the hassle and waste of time.

So please if anyone who had this same problem before have an idea about how to fix this or whats the nature of this problem and is there any way that i can get it fixed without shipping it all the way back to the States, let me know. Any help will be highly appreciated..

    Thank you very much
