Hey joiner, looks like what you have there is an Axis Sport in a finish that we called Pearl Purple. It of course has a tremolo and the original EVH/Axis humbuckers, albeit they are all black. The body wood is ash, the neck maple. The date of completion - 9/02/99. It was originally sent to Chuck Levin's Washington Music Center.
Cheers,
Dan

No DOB request here . . . just posting them for informational purposes. God forbid they get lost or stolen.

Looks like it was also invoiced & shipped on 10/13/94. It is possible that it shipped the following day.

Hi everyone,
New to this site... but very grateful it exists. Wondered if anyone can give me some info on my guitar. Think it's an Axis Super Sport. Serial number is A92631. It has a vintage tremelo (and very nice it is too) and has a rosewood neck. I think it must be some kind of special edition as I've not come across the colour before. It's black (slight gloss finish) with a cream-coloured scratchplate... so in a way it two-tone - the same colours as the humbuckers. Volume and tone controls are black metal with ridged edges for good grip. Like I said... any of your wisdom and expertise would be much appreciated. One final thing... is there a thread about how to go about lowering your guitar's action... especially for beginners?

Oxygen, welcome! Your guitar is actually an Axis Sport - one we used to offer in such a configuration, but we did not take a lot of orders for these. Your guitar was completed on 11/26/97 and was shipped to the U.K.
For setup - make sure you start with the truss rod. For more tips , there are a lot of them here: http://www.ernieball.com/faq_content...ode=mm_guitars
