Canoniico, this Silhouette (not Special) was originally completed as a SSS model on May 28 1993 and was originally shipped to our German distributor. Our records show it as a Trans Red maple.

Barry, not a problem at all - this guitar was completed on 11/15/07 and was sent to Dubaldo Music Center. BTW the weather here today is 69 with no wind chill factor ...

Hello, I'm brand new to the forum and this is my first post. I just purchased a red flame top EBMM EVH model. The serial number is 84202.

I would be very appreciative for any DOB info. Also, is there any collectability/value
differences between the flames and quilts.

MattV, welcome and congratulations on your new guitar. .First MM? This Trans Red EVH left the factory on 8/31/93 and was shipped to long-gone Nadine's Music in Hollywood. Nice!

Collectibility is such a personal thing with each person - I don't there is a clear answer on preferences. Like a lot of things, it depends on who you ask. I am sure it has been addressed on other parts of this Forum a few times.
