What is the production date of my guitar?

Diso, this is a pretty rare Axis - non-trem Trans Red with rosewood ... before the SuperSport was introduced, we offered the Axis this way for a brief time.

This was built on November 18 1997 and was shipped across the pond to the U.K.

Joe, this SSS Silhouette Special was built on Oct 23 1997 and was shipped to Germany. The finish is called Pearl Purple. It would have had a white (which has probably faded to look vintage by now) pearloid pickguard. This was the first year we were using our own MM tremolo instead of the Wilkenson. Nice find!

Jaker, welcome to the EB Forums! The Luke you are looking at was built on Dec 27 2004, the finish is Carbon Blue Pearl and it should sport a matching headstock (headstock painted to match the body), which is a nice touch. It was originally shipped to our distributor in the U.K. so I presume it hasn't travelled too far since then. I'm betting this would be a great guitar for you!

Actually, the finish is Vintage Sunburst on this guitar. It was completed on Jan 8, 2002 and was originally sold to Imperial Guitar & Sound in Newburgh, NY.

LN, your Axis SuperSport with tremolo and a Trans Blue finish was completed on Sept 20 2001 and was originally shipped to Japan.
