Hey Dan-
Good one for ya. Snagged one of the first 50 (signed) Morses, #23/50. There's no serial number, the plate is just blank. Any idea of the date?
Morse #23, '91 Morse, Y2D, 25th, HH AL, '94 Pinkburst AL, '00 White AL, Axis Sport MM90, Bongo5 HHp

Congrats on your new guitar and welcome welcome to our knucklehead world!![]()
Unless I get the serial number wrong, your Axis is not so new -
Your Axis info according to our records: Built 5/10/99 - Honeyburst finish (we called it Sunburst then) - maple, matching headstock, originally shipped to GC in Dallas.

Well, here's a little history on your Silhouette: HSS pickup configuration, Sunburst (as we called it then), solid maple neck, built on November 6 1991 and originally shipped to a store called Ligon Guitars in a little city in the middle of Illinois called Orient. It was owned and operated by one of our best dealers at the time Louis Ligon, a nice guy.
