    Hi - I'm so happy. Yesterday I've got my first luke. Color is 44 medaillon gold with matching head stock. Serial is "G26262". Can you tell me DOB/history and if possible how many were made of this color. Thanks a lot.

    zombie, your hardtail Silhouette Special with the Metal Flake Green (later called Madden Green, when we introduced the Madden signature guitar) was completed on 02/27/01. It was originally shipped to GC in Webster, Texas.

    57, congratulations on you new guitar! Your Luke was built on 8/19/04. There were less than 10 Lukes made in this finish. Nice!

    Wow, I was really blown away by this message. If there are really less than 10, it's better to put it in my safe - ha, ha!! I hope luke will have a little time to sign it after his show in hannover.

    Thanks dan! Funny thing about the madden green deal... I actually thought it was a madden when I first spotted it. Then I saw the extra pups and I knew it was a silo spec. Had to have it...

    Andy, it was just one of those weird things - tons of Lukes sold over the few years this color was available, but no one seemed to want it in this color, to which I would say - their loss!
