    Question

    Translucent Red Axis Sport: A80919

    It has black pickguard, HSS pickups and tremolo.
    I'd like you to check its DOB.

    Fazer, this Axis Sport left the factory on 8/8/97 and went to a Guitar Center in Chicago.

    Hi, 5Stringer.

    Could you please give me an aprox DOB for my Silhouette Guitar, SSS, kind of honeyburst form yello to brown.
    It´s got the serial number 90029 on the neck plate.
    Is it from 1986???

    Your Silhouette was finished on 11/22/89 and sent to Germany. The color was called sunburst (now referred to as honeyburst).

    You´re right, it´s an absolute beauty. I haven´t seen any new guitar in my region with maple neck. MM should build more of them, the rosewood fingerboard makes this beautiful guitars realy ugly.

    Your Steve Morse Y2D was completed on 12/13/05 and was shipped to DuBaldo's Music Center. This beauty has an upgraded flame top in the D' Purplebust finish. Nice!
