I just got my JP6 from a guitarstore that was on ebay.

    Serial number G46475.

Does anyone know if this guitar has the Liquifire pickup combo or the D-sonic version, from my serial number alone? Either way I am totally in love with it.

Thanks for the prompt response, I will definitely be popping on here more often from now on. The new pickups are unreal is all I can say! I played a standard unoptioned original JP6 in Amsterdam while I was on holiday a couple months ago which got me going, but I am totally in love with this new guitar! I am glad I branched out from my old Ibanez for my Musicman.

Burghfan, welcome to the Forum. Your John Petrucci in Desert Gold was completed on 10/10/06 and was shipped to Royal Music in Brooklyn, NY. It has the piezo bridge and matching headstock but not the inlays. Cool ..
