JP Mystic Dream #: G28827
Spankin' new, and an amazing instrument that has even surpassed my towering expectations.
Rich,
Congrads on your new guitar! It was completed on 9/19/05. Nice guitar!! Did you buy it while you were in the States?
Dan
Ah, that is very nice to know! This, to my knowledge, means that the bridge pickup is the modified Tone Zone, as opposed to the D-Sonic in the newer JP models? Not that I mind, as I'm REALLY liking the pickup set on my guitar.Originally Posted by 5Stringer
See, the guitar is a gift from my dad--and yes, he got it out of the US and shipped it to the Netherlands through some of his contacts (since the guitar was nowhere to be found in stores etc., they only sell 'mainstream' guitars over here, or so it would seem). He wanted my Fender Strat and knew I was saving up for a JP, so now we're both happy (although he is now officially jealous, hehe).
It's nice to see EB personnel so involved on these forums, as well. My compliments.
Cheers,
Richard

The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.
Could you please tell me the birth date of the Petrucci G28175.
Thank you

Papi,
Your Petrucci was competed on 7/8/05 and sent to Dubaldo's Music in Connecticut. We show it as having a Lava Pearl finish and being fully loaded (with all the options).
Congrads and welcome!![]()

Hi Guys first post. I have recently gotten back into the guitar scene after 15 years off. (became a gym rat). I recently purchased a transperant gold axis after drooling over eddies EVH on the cover of guitar world all those years ago!
Anyway am I right in assuming this is the I.D your ax post?
If so can I chime in.
My serial number is on the neck plate and reads 88256
I've had the neck off and someone has dated 10-7-96 on the neck heal underside. Does this mean anything. Also GOLD is stamped on the neck cavity of the body.
Do all the axis have those small silver toggle switches.
Thanks for your help guys look forward to chatting.

Hello everyone. This is my first post here. I've just bought EBMM JP7 Pearl Redburst, s/n: F05590. I should get it on Wenesday.
EBMM SUB-1 serial number: X12981
Hey all, also my first post here, Great to finally be a proud owner of an EBMM JP 6, matching head stock, Piezo, dot inlay, Graphite Pearl!
I was wondering when she was born - Serial # G30960
Thanks a bunch

The date in the neck signifies the date the neck was finished. It may or may not have someone's initials on there too. GOLD stamped on the body just means that it was supposed to be painted gold, which seemingly it was. The date your guitar was made into a finished instrument was 10/11/96, which is the first year we made Axis guitars.
Yes, all Axis guitars use essentially the same switch fomerly used on the EVH, although we moved it from its previous location. The Axis SuperSports, introduced in 1999, use a 5-position or 3-position blade-style switch for coil-tapping possibilites (on the 5-position only).
Welcome back to the wonderful wacky world of guitars and a definite welcome to the EBMM Forums!
