What is the production date of my guitar?

Today, I received my new Steve Morse SM-Y2D Purple Sunset (standard flame) Hardtail with matching headstock from Grand Central Music. The EB/MM shipping label lists 04/10/07 as the build date. The serial number is: G35339. Thanks again for making an awesome guitar! My second ball in three weeks!

Must be a record, more lefties waiting for a D.O.B. than the people who are wrong handed. Can't believe it.

It was being a leftie that got me into MM in the first place. One of the few guitar companies that even know we exist.

JP, your new awesome Y2D was indeed completed on 4/10/07 (but you knew that...)

Hi Dan,

Can I just check on the details, the guitar should be an Axis Super Sport in translucent blue, not a Luke.

Mike, sorry about the slip of the brain there the date is correct and it is indeed an Axis SuperSport in Trsnslucent Blue. Sorry, I was also thinking of a Luke and had that stuck in my head.

Yes, dfrady, your Axis was barely completed in 2002, 1/07/02. It is a Natural with a glossy (not matte finish) headstock. The information does not reveal who we originally sent it to though.

Mark, Congrats on your Luke! It was completed on 11/28/06 and shipped to Drum City Guitarland.
