Just arrived

beej, now you got it!! That is super cool! 12/22/98 is the big day for this one - Axis Sport MM-90 Vintage Sunburst Maple Standard. That is one sweet guitar I bet! The lead player in my band just picked up one exactly like this used from another friend of mine who was selling it - and it is an absolute tone monster! Unbelievable! Those MM90 pickups just scream.

Just received my new Ball today, but it seems quite weird to me.

Could you verify this:

- Silhouette Special SSS Trem
- Color: Lavender Pearl
- S/N: 88818
- maple neck / non matching headstock

Do these things match or might this be sort of a guitar puzzle assembled from different parts ?
What's the DOB according to the S/N ?
