Totally! We get all caught up with the Tone Block, but in reality it's just a way that we can get access to protos, one-offs, etc. Pretty cool stuff. I'm constantly stoked by the stuff they put out.

Damn that was fun - I could watch Steve play all day. Just nuts. That one didn't have the tone block in it- Steve, Dudley and Sterling were all trying to figure out if it did (looking down the neck for the visible mahog block). Turns out Steve had been sent one, but it was at home with his collection of guitars.

From what I can gather, Steve either hasn't really played with the Tone Block or isn't keen on it. He's obviously pretty particular- knows exactly what he wants and has stuck with his original #1 for years despite have access to just about anything. Tommy would know more than anyone.

Last I heard (and it was on the board here), Steve was loving the True Gold RW necked Morse he was given for the 25th tour with Sterling and Luke. He was having it tweaked by Dudley and was going to play it on the road with Purple. Hopefully Tommy can give us the scoop in the near future. Who knows, if he really loves the RW neck, maybe that'll become a regular option in the future. Ya just never know.

But I'm really keen to hear about a chambered Morse a la 25th. Sterling mentioned that they were making chambered versions of all the artist guitars to try out. Now that's cool.
