I can hear no noticeable difference between these cables and Mogami Gold. Bonus: they're cheaper. I use the High Definition Oxygen Free cables.

Im using MOGAMI 2524 with neutrik connectors.
I must say that this cable is beter quality than normal guiar cable, copper is thicker and even looks better than typical cheap cable.
Why I started this post?
Simply i was stuck in a point where i had not enough MOGAMI cable left and wanted to use other cable i.e.Klotz (just because i need to order MOGAMI from Australia) but I was affraid that there might be big differences.
Im running everything through Switchblade GL.

Don't know, never tried standard Mogami or Neutriks.
Another point about the Mogami. I've been using mine for about 5 years, and they're all like brand new. I'm surprised by this because the cable is more limber than any cable I'd had before, so I thought that they wouldn't stand up to being walked on, amps set down on, being yanked out of the guitar jack from stepping on the cord, rolled up and out hundreds of times without either a break in the line, kinks or scrapes in the cable's skin, etc. But so far, they are still like new, except for some scuffing of the gold plating on the jacks.

I've read that the difference between gold and nickel connectors is hardly noticeable if it was we would probably have had gold inputs in our EB's![]()

As I have always said, pay more than £20 for a cable and you are buying snake oil. You won't hear the difference (if it exists) over a noisy drummer anyway!

There is a level of truth to this, but I think about things from the perspective of the studio. If my signal isn't the best it can be in the studio then I'm short-changing myself. The signal always starts with the player, though. Expensive cables won't make you sound good if you suck as a player.
£20 is about $32 US so I would think you could get some pretty good cables for that price. You won't get Mogami Gold or Monster SP1000 for that price, but they're jacked up with marketing nonsense anyway.

LOL
I don't think "better" cords are always better. Since Beej mentioned it last time, I've been experimenting with longer and shorter Mogami cables, i.e 10' vs 28', and Beej was spot on. The longer length sounded smoother, more mids, and went into overdrive easier. The short length is the most transparent and hi-fi.
I started using Mogami 2524 cable about 5 yrs ago & have had no desire to try any other cable.

I've got the Mogami Platinum cable,....very pleased. I did notice a difference, especially in clarity. Pretty sure as long as you don't buy the 10.99 cheapie cable / cables you should be straight.

and if you want a cop a sound like Hendrix ...get a coiled cable and try that out ....another HUGE change in tone
