Idea: - the EBMM iPhone combo Selector APP

    So,

there's been a lot of comment recently about the nunber of choices available with EBMM in temrs of colours, models and wood etc.

I've had an idea, how about an app for the iPhone??? - write an app and you can pick all your colour neck, matching etc. and then get to see a finished picture then select a list of dealers to place an order with ? - or then get quotes mailed to you for price comparison???

Needs a bit of padding out - If BP & Co approves I'll happily write it for free -(But don't want to stand on Chewie's toes...)

    What do you all think????

That would be worth getting an iphone/ipod touch for! apart from the fact id spend most of the day messing with it! we'd all be sacked from our jobs cause of messing with it and suing you for loss of earnings!

    Right with you fellas,

The iPhone is pretty expensive over here, but the ipod touch isn't and has a most of the features for a third of the price,

that said, everything is going to be mobile app based soon, I got the idea from going to the app store and searching on guitar, there was NOTHING there other than mindles dross for newbies to guitar playing, at least this would be something for the hardcore knuckleheads!

    Sales pitch over

A good start would be to just have that kind of service available online.

Aww guys, I got an iphone last weekend and it's great, it's so much more than a phone, it's a computer in your pocket!

Smelly, great idea, I'd grab any EBMM app that became available.

Actually, believe it or not Australia is probably the best place in the world to get an iphone!! It's available on all 5 of our mobile carriers and is "free" on many 2 year contracts. The $1000 price is to buy it outright and unlocked, something that can't be done in most territories.

I'm actually writing this message from my iphone backstage, killing time before we go on.
