    Decisions decisions....

Ok so I having spoken with Pete D, I have narrowed my decision down to 1 of 2 MMs. Just want to get a general idea of what people think

    Option 1:
Silo Special HSS with vintage trem and piezo in either black or tobacco

    Option 2:
Dargie Silo HSS same options above (with that ever so tasty ebony fingerboard)

    Option 3:
Forget the silo and order a BFR Bahama Burst JP6
I am a coverted lefty, but I still support all my lefty brethren, only we are in our right minds

    2006 Black/Gold LE JP7
    2008 PRS DGT cherry sunburst
    1987 PRS Classic tobacco sunburst
    2009 SMY2D tobacco sunburst

    Rivera Quiana
    Mesa Boogie 5:25

    Fulltone OCD
    MXR Carbon Copy
    Dunlop 535Q
    Electro harmonix Holy Grail Reverb

I was thinking about a Dargie or a Rosewood Axis... but in the end I decided to go with what I started out having GAS for... a Silo special, SSS, Maple/Maple with black Pickguard and white pickups ala David Gilmour's strat. So to make a long story short... go with the black Silo and have fun with it.

Black or Bursted Silo Special is a good choice. Classic look and sound.

Go for the Dargie. If you get it and don't like it (virtually impossible) you can always trade it for the other one!

Dargie would be cool, but I've always loved the Tobacco Silos... I love the Bahama Blueburst JP6 too though! But it sounds like it is out of your budget, so...

There's absolutely no way you can go wrong with a tobacco/vintage burst Silo Spec with a maple board and natty headstock + vintage trem.

    Epitome of classy. Really.

    BUt the DD2 IS rare.....

Go for whatever suits your style. If you want an investment than maybe get the Dargie, but if you want to play the crap out of your guitar with a color that you actually LIKE, then get the Vintage Silo Special. I love the ideas behind the Dargies and some other concepts, but I know its not for me...so why would I get something just because its rare. I bought my 20th Silo because I love the way it looks and the combination of tone woods...and to PLAY the guitar, not to store it for a few years down the line. If I had extra cash THEN I would be buying all these other colors more for investment rather than playing.
And YES, Vintage Burst Silo Special w/ maple board is cool!!!

You definitely have some nice choices there. But you can get the silo or jp anytime. Based on the rarity of the DargieII, I'd definitely get that. I picked up a Dargie JP on the first go-round. You won't regret it.
