New Here: Welcome message and questions

    Hi Guys,
I'm from Amazonas/Brazil and after years dreaming on it, last week I finally bought my EBMM JP6 Mystic Dream!!! (pictures below)

I bought it from a guy at Mercado Livre (brazilian's E-bay similar). So, I would like to know if it is possible to know the date of production of the guitar.

    SERIAL Number is: G36895

Another question: Is there any other way to down the strings, and put then nearest to the neck? I tried traditional way, but strings are still high. It is possible to down this specific part that I marked with a circle, on picture n.02? I think it is high and down it maybe solve this problem.

    Great to be here!
    Regards!

    Murilo Jacques
    Brazil

    welcome

theres a sticky thread in the forums at the top of the page that you can post the serial number in and someone will get back to you.

if you want to lower the action of the high e string from what you labeled in the picture . all you need is a allen key/wrench and you can lower the saddle.
easy peasy. you can do this with all the other saddles also if need be.

    Welcome to the forums.

For setup of your JP guitar, you might try the Music Man FAQ first: how-do-i-set-up-my-john-petrucci-guitar | music-man-guitars | faq

If that isn't helpful, I suggest contacting EBMM Customer Service: musicman_customerservice@ernieball.com

Welcome. I still find this colour great.
Keep in mind that adjusting the action from the saddles is not recommended since they are 'shaped' with the neck's radius.
Customer Service or just give it to a professional for a set-up.
