    What's next?

While I'm waiting on my BFR to come back from EBMM, I figured I'd start trying to decide what my first guitar of 2010 will be.

I'm sort of creating my own GAS here. Hopefully I create some for everyone else, also.

I have a handful of JP guitars, so I think it's time for something different, even though I think a Cherry Burst JP Baritone is in my future.

So what do you guys think?
    BFR JP7 - Amethyst Burst - 5/29/08
    JP7 - Stealth - 3/22/10

I'd say a Steve Morse. Not the Y2D, but the original, just like Steve's #1. Seconded by some sort of AL.

If there's another you think of, just post it in a reply. I didn't think to put other in the poll.

Out of your list, I'd say a red AL SSS. There's one in particular that I'm thinking about (Hi Pete)

Away from your list, I'd say a Silhouette. There's one in particular that I'm thinking about (Hi Pete)

You'll never guess where I've played these particular guitars.........
8/17/04 EBMM Axis SS MM90 trans blue (spaceball 3000)
7/29/04 EBMM Sub1 X11376 oil/wax neck, gloss black body, faux binding, HSS w/5 way and silent circuit
07 Albert Lee SSS Black Cherry Burst

I dunno exactly what it will be but I do know that it will be an SSS configuration-AL or Silhouette Special.
Although if the right Y2D (TobaccoBurst hardtail) presented itself I'd be in a quandary.

The AL, only if it's the limited future HH...

Otherwise, I think that you should add a nice ASS to your list.

I was thinking about a 2H AL. If I can get one with a rosewood neck, even better.

Seriously though, get the AL. It gives you something totally different than anything you currently have in your arsenal, and it will likely lead you to types of playing you may not normally spend much time working on. It's so different tone wise that it will inspire you in new ways.
