A big Thank You for all the kind words. I try to keep my chin up, but its hard. I shouldn’t use this forum to wine about my problems as I know that there are many of you in the same boat. Chatting about it is sorta therapeutic in a way.
I’m a graphic designer for a living Stratty.
Thanks again all. I think I will stick around here.

If it's any help the truth of the matter is that once you hit the bottom the only other way is up. Good luck in overcoming this dark period.
Jeff
sorry to hear about this. Everything will work out. Soon we'll be reading about how you found a new job making more money and how your going crazy ordering new EBMM AND SBMM guitars.
ok browndog he comes the advice from me.
What do you love? What do you like? You get a chance to use your past collective experience to help you in what you decide. The key part is even if its free or minimum wage go start doing something.....anything...that you like or better yet love.....volunteer at a store or a charity get busy and start momentum opportunity can only happen through change and action.....These are good words trust me.....A stationary object collects dust.....even if its an hour tomorrow it widens your circle and gets the network kickstarted and the bood flowing.

Thanks Jason, if you remember I told you that I’m ill as well. But I may take you up on playing one of your guitars. All depends on my health.
Thanks BP. I’m suppose to start volunteering with the Canadian Diabetes Association this coming January. I was just diagnosed 5 months ago. Again, this will depend on some health issues related to my Diabetes.
And thanks to all those not mentioned. I appreciate all your comments.

I have heard that calgary and spots in newfoundland are looking for people to fill certain spots in the computer field. Maybe take a look with them? Montreal is where all our video game makers are at the moment so I'm sure there must be a spot for a graphic designer there as well.
I'm sure you will find a position soon and atleast you have OHIP to take care of you as well.

Hey I'm really sorry to hear about your situation. I've only been on this forum for several months after having purchased my first EBMM in June. What's ironic is that I my f/t gig is in the diabetes area. I don't have the disease so I can't understand what you are going through but I know a lot about it b/c I work for a company that markets and manufactures products that help diabetics to live the life that they want to live. We have a huge passion for improving the life of the diabetic patient. Be safe and find things to do that make you happy and keep you busy.

Jeff, I'm really sorry to hear about what you've been going through.
BP's advice is good relating to getting involved in things that you're interested in. A lot of people over here in the UK are now working at companies for free, just to get experience and a foot in the door. I'm sure that your work with the Diabetes society will really help with your motivation, confidence and job searching.
Stick around, you don't need to have an EBMM to post here, just look at how many posts Foggy had before he'd got his first!!
