My only advice would be, get it serviced regularly, keep it clean (Wonder wipes), don't be too rough with it and it'll last a lifetime.
Enjoy.

Ok I already have my planet waves cable so monster is out of the question. If I plug into the passive one without piezo does it still drain the battery? And what happens if I use both outputs to let's say the same amp or two different amps? Thanks for all the help so far!
I think either output will drain the piezo.
You can plug one mono cable into each output and then run to two different amp setups. Or you can use one stereo cable (TRS cable) from the stereo jack and then split the signal later and go to two different amp setups. A lot of the JP players here will tell you that for gigs, they typically use a stereo cable, split the signal later, run the magnetic pickups to the amp and then the piezo pickup signal straight to the audio board/PA.

Yup- either output will drain the battery if you leave the cable plugged in.

I concur with the others. Treat it like a guitar with EMG's. Unplug it or replace the battery all the time.
