    Inside my Morse

After 8 years, the pots of my Morse needed a good cleaning ...
It was the first time I opened my Morse, thus I took some pics :

    There is a secret number : 5232435
Is this the personal phone Number of Steve Morse

The wiring is really well done. I suppose it was made by a guy called RLB, the 21 August 2001 (the DOB of my Morse is 14 September 2001). Thanks to him, it's a job well done !

A few drop of contact cleaner and now the pots are like new !
    Ready to rock

Cool pics of the Morse. I did not realize that the bridge side single-coil is an HS-3 Dimarzio.

*Edit, I just noticed that the pup is mounted "backwards" in relation to how SC's are normally mounted to a pickguard. That would make sense as to how close it could be to the HB.

It's always nice to see cables that are neatly dressed, as opposed to just being run from one point to another, without any thought for future works.

Bonus points for the EBMM crew!

    It's not...

It's built for EBMM for use in the Morse model. It's not hum-canceling either....

So, it just shares the model # with the HS-3 then?

only guessin....but i bet dimarzio uses the same bobbin on the morse as they do on the hs3 because they share a certain mechanical funtion requirement. but the morse bridge single coil is NOT an hs3.i have seen that sticker on other morse guitars too. the morse rear single coil pickup is not sold to the public by dimarzio and does not actually have a model #.
