Cant Sleep waiting for my BFR JP6

The waiting doesn't really hit me hard until a new guitar is on the way to me from the dealer.

Then I go nuts, get all excited, and freak out if I'm not home to receive it.

that's usually the time when I calm down from "when's it coming...when's it coming...when's it coming!?!?"

At least I know I will have it in a day or two at that point

I feel for ya man, I waited nearly 10(!) months for my Ibbie Universe to arrive couple years ago. Sucked real bad. Heared people wait 2 years for a Thorn, that about borders plain masochism for me

I'm guessing you ordered from Musician's Friend or GC Online. The problem there is you only get a choice of the colors they stock and the models they carry online. Or you ordered from a shop that had one in stock.

When we order, it could be from any number of dealers, but it's a guitar made specifically for us. We choose color, style, etc. as long as it's currently offered. Think of it as a special order.

mine has the petrucci mod. where u hit a string and it does 32nd notes at 380bmp hehehehehe, it plays by itself.!! so thats why it takes longer to build.!!

They contact your dealer (or national distributor) who will in turn contact you when it is ready. It will be well worth the wait!

I know how you feel...mine could be shipped from SLO literally any day now....I'm REALLY looking forward to NGD!!

What's even worse is having your new guitar show up at your house, you're stuck overseas, and it will be 3 months until you can even see it!

do you guys know how often they update the BFR Picture thread with guitars that leave SLO.?? the funny thing is my sister just left for miami, she'll be there for a week on business, and she could bring the guitar with her back to Honduras.. i guess i'll just have to keep waiting.. hopefully i;ll get some news this week. from the shop owner.. or someone :P cant wait to have it.!
