    Hey Fing!!!

I have a question for you.

Seeing you get all the latest guitars, and they're fresh in your mind but not your stable, you should be able to answer this.

How does the HH AL compare with the 25th tonally???

LOL Foggy, I do tend to jump on the latest and greatest

So for your question, like comparing apples and oranges, they are tonally different beasts.

Different woods, chambering vs. non chambering, different voiced pups, I actually just played a 25th at GC, love it but something about the shape causes my elbow issue to flare up not sure what it is. love the 25th but the HH AL is awesome light versatile and that rosewood neck is something else.

All i can say is try one you will be suprised, i keep saying it is an Al on steriods, retains the AL vibe in its tone but gives you alittle something else.

Oh by the way as Rob said just buy an FING AL Any AL but I do belive in the new HH AL, highly

Fog, you are a stratty man at heart, just get a good old classic SSS AL and be done with it. It can do your Mayer tones you love so much.

I'm pretty sure I've got the bucker end of things covered.

The plan was (is) to get an AL SSS w/ piezo so that I'd have a complete tonal arsenal.

Yes the AL HH looks killer and I'm sure it sounds so too. I'd probably hold out for a BP HHH AL instead though.

I read something in another thread comparing the AL HH to single coils, so that stimulated the question.

Well the AL HH has axis pups and they sound nothing like an SSS AL!

very true, but they do have a diference from my Axis Super Sport pups probably the wood.

Yes if you want a gitar that looks similar but want 100% different tones the get an AL in all five flavors, standard SSS, BFR SSS, MM-90 Al, HH AL and one of any with a piezo, you would be covered

You put AL in the title of a thread, and Rob will be here faster than Dean on a metal thread.

But I definitely gotta drop by the GC zombi works at. Just 30min drive.... and I have to hope that no one has bought it yet!

I've owned the 25th for some time now, so getting a side by side comparison with the AL HH would be something to look forward to.

If I go SSS, then it'll probably be black, white or silver.
