Tuning the guitar with the compensated nut

    Hi guys.
I've had my LE 06 pet for quite some years now, and I've always tuned in the normal way, by just picking the open strings and tuning them to pitch.
But I was wondering if with this kind of nut there's another way of tuning the guitar, a bit like when tuning a suhr with the buzz feiten tuning system

The compensated nut allows you to tune "normally" while providing more accurate intonation. You can still compliment with sweetened tunings, but do not need a specific offset for the compensated nut.
