Great deals with frisco, Astronome, and others
Just because its perfect for JP doesn't mean it'll be perfect for you though. With every guitar, I would try out the ones you can get your hands on, try them out and see what appeals to you.
Also, I don't necessarily think that EB and JP built the BFR to be better than the original, I think they just wanted something different. The standard JP's and BFR's are amazing instruments and I'm sure the JPX will be no different.

Not really.
Basswood original JP's vs. BFR JPs vs. JPx's... I don't believe that any one of them is inherently better than the other one. They're all just different.
The composition of tonewoods, for example, is an important thing to consider and of course it affects your decision, as it should. But because the "next evolution" of the JP has different woods in it, it doesn't mean it's inherently better than the old one is or was. Just different.
I think what you're trying to say is that you're concerned about which incarnation of the JP to buy because you want one that fits YOU best, and you think this next one might be "IT" for you, but you're not sure. Am I right?

ok you are...hehehehehe all being little b!tches
WE get exactly 10 minutes at namm to give you something...as for the background and his clothes...I dont think JP has worn a white shirt since junior high gym class
sound clips would have happened if his rig wasnt in New York...these were filmed at the NAMM show. We would never post sound clips with anything but his rig can you imagine the critique we all would get even if we explained it wasnt his rig?

What a cool vid. I'm warming to the JP every day. Super axe, maybe a JPX will make its way to the house of Al one day.
My name is Rob and I'm an AL-coholic!![]()
The MM90 AL is the most underrated axe on the planet!
I buy my balls from the number one EBMM dealer in Australia, the all round nice guy and legendary Colin! His website is www.guitarplanet.com.au Give him a call to order your balls!!!!!
Evolution of the perfect guitar for JP...not necessarily for you. For instance, they changed the scoop on the BFR because JP has massive forearms now in comparison to when the original model was built. This is something that is very relevant to JP, but for a lot of people (especially the skinny nerds on this forum) this is not an issue.
b2d I was joking I even had the hehehehe I appreciate your input...If I thought you were all bitches I wouldnt spend time here or give of myself. Seymour Duncan is a fine comapny that I know well......
Where was I not nice to someone in person ? I dont get it.
I will seriously state that these videos are something that is much better than nothing and more than most forums offer. Im glad you are a graphic arts major.....but really now that you have thought about it have you ever seen jp in a light colored shirt?
