    The story behind Lapdance Armageddon...

The name comes from the idea that great art, at least that which reaches the most people and also withstands the test of time, tends to be both immediately accessible and creatively revolutionary. Whether it was Beethoven modulating in "illegal" ways in the 3rd Symphony or Hendrix's Star-Spangled shock and awe... So the idea behind the name, Lapdance Armageddon, is the celebration of music that jumps in your lap, as it were, and also provides a musical apocalypse around certain established conventions.

And, if you are interested, here is a link to the video we just did. It is an acoustic tune, so no Sihouette here, and no guitars were injured in the filming. :-)

    Good song. I like it!

And the video was very nicely done.

I'm glad to see that the torture victim wasn't EBMM!

    Hey, all,

Well, thanks so much for the kind words and for checking out the video. I'd NEVER torture my EBMM! And that strat copy fared quite well, actually--just needed a new set of strings. We should have put the disclaimer: No electric guitars were harmed in the filming of this video.
