    Regarding BFR JP7s

A few months ago there were pictures of spalted finishes for one or two JP6s that were at that GC event with Petrucci- I thought these were going into production, but there is nothing on the music man site mentioning them.

Also- has anyone seen ANY pics of a Cherryburst 7 bfr? And does anyone plan on ordering a Koa 7 bfr?

The spalted maple was a 1 off for that event if I remember right. Someone here on the forum owns it... Other then the limited edition Axis for Japan I don't remember any talk about making it a production product.

Yeah buddy I know, that wasn't my question. I asked if anyone had pics of the cherryburst (which I found on the DCGL site) and if anyone was ordering a koa7.

That's weird that they'd do that since they make such a big deal of only making one-offs for endorsees.

Not really, they wont do a 1 off for you or me just because we want something different... but a 1 off for a special event like an Artist clinic, NAMM or something else isn't uncommon for them. They are always prototyping and coming up with new finishes etc. They rarely make them available to the public... but its not unheard of. Look at the special runs of stuff they have been doing for their Japanese distributers lately.
