    Pickup suggestions for my AL

I am thinking about changing the bridge pickup on my AL SSS model. I like the clarity of the stock Seymour Duncans, but I am looking for for punch and bite. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions, or feedback. Thanks

I put a SD JB Jr in the bridge of an AL I had and liked the results, thinking of doing it to the one I have now.

The SD Hot Rails is my favorite single coil size bridge pickup - lots of punch and bite!

Ive never found any that I really like, so I just gave up on the idea of a hotter bridge single coil, plus they always robbed me of the bridge/middle tone which is the staple of my tone.

Try the Seymour Duncan Twangbanger. It is supposed to have more bite than a standard Strat pup.

There's a lot of love for the Fralin's over at the TDPRI Tele forum, and those be some serious cork-sniffers over there.

I agree with Rob changing PUPs will kill the bridge+middle magic position

I would rather suggest to add an external boost pedal or take advantage of the 9V battery that feeds the silent circuit and add on of those EMG tone controls that can do wonders
