how i decide? depends on the music i´m making.
with my coverband i prefer the Y2Ds and the EVHs more, because we do a lot of classic rock songs. but the DD2 is although very good sounding for the those rocksongs and this is because the new crunchlab is awesome.
with my other band project i normally use the JPs.
and of course with my old project "septimal time" i only used the JPs - as you can imagine, it was a prog-rock band influenced by Dream Theater - but we split after two years, because we never found the perfect vocalist.

until now, no. a JP bfr would be nice, but after i tested it, i have to say that i´m a "unfinished neck guy".
