JP7 Orange Firemist vs. JP7 Desert Gold (pic inside)

    hey folks,

every time i´ve seen a picture of an orange firemist JP, i couldn´t tell / see the difference to my desert gold, until today.

a friend of mine got his new JP7 orange firemist last week and today we met and did a quick comparison of both guitars....his is a bit lighter weight and the neck seemed to be a bit thinner.
and of course his JP has the new pickups - and i need a crunchlab7 now!

so here are two pictures of the guitars.
the upper one is orange firemist (i love that sparkle-effect!) and the lower one is desert gold.

Though I love gold, I must say I'm quite partial to the orange firemist.

I love that firemist. Quite fond of the sparkly paintjobs. I also love that "wavy" rosewood fretboard. You see that more often with brazilian rosewood. Excellent axe! Not that the gold is a dog, quite far from it.

if the firemist have had the inlays, i would have changed the cases after we put them in.

Yeah, the comparison is more obvious side-to-side. I'd prefer higher quality pictures, though Kinda... dark... and compressed.

Thanks though, I haven't seen them like that before. It's crazy how the dot inlays make the neck look so much wider.
