I just wish they would have kept the same trem as what's on the EBMM Petrucci. Sweet instrument though!

looks nice! this would be a cheap way to get a stealth JP, especially the neck is not painted on this one.

painted neck are great, I think you should try one Joe.

My bongo stealth is really nice to play and anyway after a while you have a nice patina that make the neck even more silky

Now that looks nice, think the stealth has a unique vibe to it. Have to think about one.

Pat, I understand the cost factor but is there ever going to be a possibility of a pizo on the JP50? Just curious.

Might have to take that off your hands Pete

This is just my guess, but it look like the same trem with the exception of the "cover" over the saddles... am I right?

The trem feels virtually the same, and is balanced in a similar fashion. Aside from not using a cover, the only differences I notice are that the arm slips into place instead of pops, and it tightens differently. The tuning stability is fantastic!

we've used piezos on some other brands that we manufacture and the cost is pretty high if we were to use a standardized bridge style. If we were to make the JP50 bridge piezo equipped it would be really expensive to tool up and it would most def push the street price higher.

I guess my question would be, how high could we go for an overseas made guitar and would the buying public go for it? Me thinks a consumer if they must have a piezo would go for a higher end guitar and pay the higher price associated with a USA made guitar. Would you guys pay $900 for an Indonesian made guitar?

Thanks Pat, like I said I understand the cost factor just did not know how high it would put it for the retail price, I just think the JP and peizo go hand in hand With that said i thnk the JP stealth looks awesome and well built, will definetly look into adding one to my CFB aresanal

no problem! I too have thought about how useful a piezo electric can be. I'm gonna bring it up at the next product meeting.

    Thanks
    Pat
