    Cool LUke BFR

    HI!

    been dreaming bout buying MM Luke for quite some time now...
    need some help tho!

    LUKE 1 or BFR????

    obviosely the bfr is much more expensive, but what exactly is the difference...? rosewood/ maple -neck... tremolo-system? pickups?

    Welcome.

    The Luke 1's had a Floyd Trem and where painted. The BFR's are trans finishes.

    It really comes down to what you like in the end. Did you check the for sale thread? Fing's got a Terling Silver Luke 2 for sale in there as well as there is a Luke Blue one.

    The PUPs are not the same between Luke 1 and Luke 2 or BFR

    the single coil were SA (Luke 1) while now they are SLV (Luke 2 and BFR)

    + the bfr has a maple top and a mahogony tone block in it which thickens up the tone nicely IMO

    My vote is for the BFR. Much more cooler and classier guitar in my opinion.
