hey EvilEmuOfDoom, if you like the neck of the JS, you should check out a Y2D very quick! and of course a JP BFR is an awesome guitar!
forget about your IBZs, no matter how rare they are or not....switch over to EBMM - there will be a lot of rare models as well - and you will enter a higher level of guitars.

don´t get me wrong, i don´t want to offense you in any way, but i sold off a lot of cool and rare guitars to refinance my EBMMs, because they are saddled at a higher level as any IBZ, Jackson or Charvel you can get.

Definitely not offended. I can now see why EBMM owners are so brand loyal, the quality is pretty amazing. The Ibanez J-Custom builds come arguably close but are more expensive than most EBMM guitars surprisingly. My PR1 is a J-Custom build but badged Prestige because it was a US run and they weren't exporting J-Customs until this year. The difference between it and my other Ibanez guitars is noticeable. I don't think I'll ever sell the PR1 but I'm pretty sure this won't be my only EBMM for very long either

The only thing that really sucks is that I still haven't heard it through an amp! I returned my TA-15 the day before I got it in order to purchase a Mark V which shipped today and won't be here until Wednesday... It's killing me!

    Welcome....from another Mass guy.

If you want a "real" rare guitar, there's a purple reflex in the f/s section here that's 1 of 2 ever made. I think Sweat and GWDavis both have 1 of 1's or 1 of 6 or something like that. And they're not a gazillion dollars either. Oh....I predict you'll buy another one.

8/17/04 EBMM Axis SS MM90 trans blue (spaceball 3000)
7/29/04 EBMM Sub1 X11376 oil/wax neck, gloss black body, faux binding, HSS w/5 way and silent circuit
07 Albert Lee SSS Black Cherry Burst
    buncha non-ebmm guitars
keep in mind that you are talking about four pieces of wood two pots one switch a trem along with springs two pickups and some wire.....BP
